With CAS REGISTRY^SM, STN provides the world’s most authoritative collection of disclosed substance information. The CAS REGISTRY^SM is a comprehensive collection of more than 160 million chemical substances and nearly 70 million bio-sequences extracted by CAS scientific analysts from journal articles, patents, and other sources dating back more than 150 years. It grows by 40 thousand substances every day.

CAS Formulations (CASFORMS) is another unique database covering the chemistry of formulations in pharmaceuticals, agroscience and cosmetics, coatings, consumer goods, food and materials. The database brings together information from multiple sources including patents, journal articles supplier, regulatory and substance data in one solution to increase a formulator’s efficiency.
