The Predefined Substance Report feature helps you create a report with a predefined, professional-looking format from transcripts with substance data.

Click the Predefined Report button on the toolbar of the STN Express main menu, and select Substance Report... from the drop-down menu.

The Transcript File: dialog box opens. Select the transcript of interest. Click Open.

Note: the Substance Report includes the following fields; structure, CAS Registry Number®, CAS Index Name, and Molecular Formula. Be sure to display the answers in your transcript in a format in which these fields are available.

The transcript appears in a “predefined substance report” format. To create a custom report, use the Custom Report tool.
