STN Express® with Discover!™— CAS Registry Number® and Role Report Wizard

Available with Analysis Edition (Version 8.0 or higher)

With the CAS Registry Number and Role Report Wizard, you can easily obtain an overview of the relationship of the compounds in your answer set and the types of studies for those compounds.

Simply, conduct a search in either CAplusSM, HCAplus, ZCAplus, or REGISTRY. CAplus is used in this example.

Select the L-number for the answer set you want to analyze and CAS Registry Number and Role Report.

Select either All RNs or Hit RNs and the answers to be used. All RNs is selected in this example. Click Chart.

The CAS Registry Numbers from the selected documents and the associated roles are tabulated in a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet.

Click 3-D Column at the bottom of the spreadsheet to view the data as a 3-D column.

You can then display the CAplus records in selected cells, if desired.
