One of the organizers is FIZ Karlsruhe whose Vice President Information Service Engineering,  Prof. Sack, is Conference Chair and a member of the conference’s Permanent Advisory Board.

The Virtual File on STN
You can create your own flexible STN “virtual file” by combining different data from multiple databases.  Use STN tools like TRANSFER and FSORT to leverage information across databases.   Learn how to create custom display formats and use them to display just the information you need..

Multi-File Structure Searching on new STN
There are a number of structure searchable databases on the new STN platform – CAS REGISTRYSM, MARPAT®, Derwent Markush Resource (DWPIM), Derwent Chemistry Resource (DCR), and REAXYSFILESub. Learn how to perform structure searches in these databases, plus how to create a specific search strategy for the Derwent databases with new structure editor features. Learn techniques for duplicate patent removal, and results export in various formats, including new Excel formats.
