SEMANTiCS is the leading European conference on Semantic Technologies and AI and is held for the first time in Karlsruhe, Germany. One of the organizers is FIZ Karlsruhe whose Vice President Information Service Engineering,  Prof. Sack, is Conference Chair and a member of the conference’s Permanent Advisory Board.

Natural Products Alert contains information on the biological, biochemical, and economic aspects of natural drugs and their constituents. NAPRALERT covers pharmacology, biological activity, taxonomic distribution, ethics in medicine, and the chemistry of plant, microbial, or animal (including marine) extracts. Records in NAPRALERT relate to organisms and natural products. Nearly 50% of the database contains records obtained by systematic indexing of literature since 1975. The remaining records are compiled as a result of retrospective data selection dating back to 1650. Sources include journals, books, patents, conference proceedings, government reports, and newsletters. Bibliographic information, substances information, taxonomic and chemical names, and CAS Registry Numbers are searchable.

  1. editing or changing the format of search results to create search terms for use with search files or systems;
  2. combining search results with output from other searches, files, or systems to create a consolidated file of search results;
  3. editing the search results to remove irrelevant answers or to change the format of such results.

Recipient shall not use computer-readable search results as a database or part of a database from which hits are selectively retrieved by programmed search. Recipient may create one printed copy of search results from a computer-readable file of search results provided that the Recipient destroys the computer-readable search results upon creation of the printed version.

Recipient shall obtain Database Producer's specific written permission for any uses of computer-readable search results other than those listed here.
