Due to these outstanding order processing capabilities, far more than 95% of all document orders can be processed via FIZ AutoDoc. Remainders can be procured from external sources on demand.
Manual Order Processing
Manual order processing perfectly complements FIZ AutoDoc's automatic order processing. In cases where the system could not process your order automatically, there is still our experienced FIZ AutoDoc Service Team available to help you.
These orders will be processed manually:
- orders with incorrect or incomplete bibliographical data, or those which cannot be delivered by our partner document suppliers and publishers
- orders placed using the order form for "other" types of literature (e.g. conference papers and meeting reports, technical reports, book chapters or whole books)
- any free-text orders placed via free text order form, e-mail or fax
- orders from "STN Search Results" or "other Search Results", which could not be successfully analyzed
- ePrints requests
Please note: Each manual order is intellectually analyzed by the FIZ AutoDoc Service Team. Delivery for orders placed for manual order processing may take longer, as different suppliers may be involved. There is an extra charge for manual order processing (see price list).
